Description
The Golden Temple located in Amritsar, India, is a revered Sikh shrine & a symbol of Sikhism's spiritual & historical importance. Its full name is Harmandir Sahib, meaning 'Abode of God'.
Itinerary
Board train from Kerala to Agra – Overnight Journey (No train food / Mineral water).
Train journey
On arrival at Agra railway station check in hotel. After lunch, visit the spectacular Taj Mahal (built by Emperor Shah Jahan during1632 in memory of his wife Mumtaz) and Agra Fort (built by the great Emperor Akbar 1573) - Overnight stay at Agra (Lunch & Dinner).
After breakfast and check out - proceed to the Pink city of Jaipur (240 kms / 5 hrs), en route visit Fatehpur Sikri (the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar). Proceed to Jaipur – check in hotel. Over night stay at Jaipur.
After breakfast visit the Amber Fort ( built in the 16th century) - enjoy an elephant ride (optional at your own cost) at Amber Fort. Visit the City Palace and Museum, walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar Observatory. Drive past the Hawa Mahal, later evening visit Birla Temple. Overnight stay at hotel
After breakfast transfer to Delhi (5/6 hours)Evening on a window viewing tour to Parliament House & Rashtrapathi Bhavan – then visit India Gate. Overnight stay at Delhi. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
After Breakfast, visit Qutub Minar (tallest stone tower in India), Lotus Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, Red fort & Raj Ghat – drop at hotel. Evening free for shopping at your own - Overnight stay (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
After breakfast and check out from hotel, drop at Indira gandhi international airport for your return journey Reach Kerala with Wonderful Memories (Tour ends).
